1. Acceptance

By installing or using Webtracer, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension and stop using the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Webtracer. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. The Service

Webtracer is a browser extension that monitors web pages for content changes and sends notifications. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

4. Accounts

An account is optional for free-tier use. To access Pro or Enterprise features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Pro and Enterprise plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or annual).
• You can cancel at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of purchase.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Webtracer to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Monitor pages you do not have authorization to access
• Use the service for automated scraping at scale beyond personal monitoring
• Attempt to circumvent tier limits or abuse the service
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the extension for redistribution
• Use the service to harass, stalk, or infringe on others' rights

7. Intellectual Property

Webtracer and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Algomittens LLC. The extension is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the extension without our written consent.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of Webtracer is governed by our Privacy Policy. Tracker data is stored locally on your device. Account and subscription data is stored on our servers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Algomittens LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: missed change detections, notification failures, data loss, loss of profits, or any damages arising from your use or inability to use the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the service or other users. You may delete your account and data at any time from the Account section.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, binding arbitration.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Webtracer after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
